I am so excited for the new season to come into stores, there are so many trends that I am getting excited about, I much prefer winter clothing, layering and the warm colours. I’ve written an article on about Autumn Winter trends for 2010 here.
The key look I’m most excited about is the 1950s trend and the comeback of mid-length skirts. As a very tall girl I can’t find skirts most of the year that aren’t obcene on me. I don’t mind short, but short in a regular shop is a belt on me! So will look forward to some longer skirt lengths and some classy dressing.
Alot of magazines and stores have been citing Mad Men as influence, I haven’t seen it, but really ought to the styling does look wonderful.
I’ve been playing on Shopstyle again, and have create this look board inspired by the Autumn Winter 2010 trend for 1950s styling. I’ve gone for a Secretary look too, inspired by the lovely Maggie Gyllenhal in the movie of the same name.
