If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I’m a huge fan of some of the diffusion ranges that some of the classic shops have released in recent years: Monsoon Fusion, Hobbs NW3 and Boutique by Jaeger, stick with the mainline ideas of classic, quality clothing, but with a fun, quirky and often vintage inspired twist that will appeal to a whole new audience.
Boutique by Jaeger haven’t made a single mistake in any of their collections so far in my opinion, everything is beautiful, quality and unique. It’s so my taste and I always want 90% of the range for myself, sadly, it’s slightly out of my price range at the moment, but hey, a girl can dream!
Here are my picks of the SS12 Boutique by Jaeger lookbook, which in typical Jayne style, I’ve picked out all of the most nautical inspired pieces, you can’t go wrong with a bit of sailor chic in the Summer (or in my case, all year round)
Can I also add, that I adore how they have styled this shoot, heavily inspired by Brigette Bardot, with awesome hair and some stunning red lips!
I love the vintage style school girl sandals, a-line skirt and most of all that beautiful sailor top! So my taste, I really want it! Can’t wait to see it in the shops to find out what it’s made of, will it be a nice thick silk or lovely matte cotton?
This jumper really caught my eye as it’s similar to my current favourite jumper, that I picked up from Mango in the Winter. I love the shade of red and the weave of the knit make this garment really quirky. Not so much a fan of those shorts myself, but styled together is very cute.
Another sailor inspired beauty, this dress look amazing, it has a pleated skirt, just to make it even better! If I can invited anywhere nice this spring/ summer this is currently top of my wish list! I wonder if it comes in another colour?
This one is a beautiful occasion dress, in my favourite colour! Love the overlay of lace over a dark base and the v-neck, so pretty.
