So you’re probably bored of reading beauty box reviews by now, right? I got my first Glossybox this month, the Valentines one and it was lovely. However, I still think that the Latest in Beauty box has been neglected, it’s the lowest prices beauty box and offers lots of well known branded samples as well as some you may not of heard of.
Over the last few months, the Latest in Beauty box has been built around a monthly theme, the first one I got was the CEW Â Award Winners Box and for January, the theme is Refresh and Recover. So, think detox and cleansing themes. Here’s what it looked like upon opening.
And a closer look, will make it clear of the contents.
This box contained some fabulous items, which really fitted with the theme perfectly.
3 ActiMints a probiotic mint, that claims to improve digestion and help calcium to absorb.
Cosmetofruit Chile Beauty Elixir, a drinkable supplement containing all sorts of berries for anti-ageing effects and to improve hair, nails and cellulite (apparently).
Super cute Figs and Rouge Sweet Geranium Balm, in a very pretty tin, I’m sure you’re familiar with this brand, it’s 100% organic and approved by the soil association.
Teapigs Peppermint Tea Bag, which is self explanatory, but an ideal addition to the box. Peppermint tea is a kitchen cupboard essential for me to keep tummy ache at bay. Teapigs is a marvellous brand and they come in fabric tea bags, which is a nice luxury touch.
Lavera Hand Cream which is a brand I haven’t used before, this is Vegan and 100% natural, so another brand that is right up my street.
Monu Recovery Balm, a professional skin care product that contains peptides, I shall be interested to try this one.
Since this was the first box of the year, Latest In Beauty are currently offering two samples of your choice in addition to those in the box, so I chose Burts Bees Milk & Honey Body Lotion and a very generous, what looks to be full size Balance Me Rose Otto Butter Salve. So for your £6.95, you really have got a marvellous bargain.
I shall review the products in a bit more detail when I’ve had chance to use them properly, but first impressions, this is a lovely selection of products that I am keen to try and a complete bargain at £6.95. Everyone should try Latest in Beauty at least once!
The Latest in Beauty Themed Box is only £6.95, there is no monthly contract, you just pay as you want one. There is also a box option for sachet samples at only £1 per month and luxury samples available for individual resale. So, from all the beauty boxes around, this is the more versatile and affordable option. They also disclose what will be included, which will avoid any dissapointment, which I know has been a major issue with some of the other beauty boxes.
