MUA Love Hearts Sugar Lips Balm & UR Fab Nail Polish Review

So pleased that I’ve been able to try these cuties, after featuring them on my blog earlier in the month and seeing lots of nice reviews around the blogosphere. I was luckily enough to receive these two items in the goody bag at the Superdrug event this week.

First off, I tried the MUA Nail Polish in UR Fab, which I got after the lovely Maria of Ms Drifted Snow White swapped me for, as she has this shade already and I received a yellow one. I’m not into yellow nail polish at all. So that worked out nicely!

This polish applied really smoothly and thickly, so very easy to use. It also dried pretty quickly I just love the colour it’s a pinky purple, berry shade. A fantastic, sophisticated way to wear pink. I really love it and I’m sure it will become a firm favourite.

Within the new MUA Love Hearts collection there are also a tinted lip balms. I got Sugar Lips, which is a pretty candy pink shade. It’s a very subtle colour on me, as my lips are naturally quite red already. The finish is very glossy without being too sticky and certainly feels pleasant to wear. Most of all, the packaging is super cute, would look great in your handbag and would make a very sweet gift.

All of the MUA collection is super affordable, for example the nail polishes are only £2! A great treat for yourself or a friend.

Have you tried anything from MUA? What do you think of the Love Hearts collection?

  1. I got an orange MUA polish. If someone reads this and wants it tweet me @skinblisterblog as I will never use it.

The lipbalm is really good. Been using mine since Thursday and I was suprised at how nice it is. x

    1. Orange is another challenging nail polish colour. The lip balm is amazingly nice for something so affordable, it’s very cute too!

  2. My daughter bought the full set of nail polishes, but gave me the orange, red, yellow and nude, keeping the blue and violet for herself (lucky me!!). They are so much darker and brighter than in the bottles, really lovely pop colours!

Chelsea Dagger did a post a few days ago where she mixed the orange and the yellow to make this gorgeous tangerine colour, so they have scope too 🙂
