Review: PixiGLOW Tinkerbell Collection Eye Make Up

Here comes another cutesy review of the PixiGLOW Tinkerbell collection, these are the three individual eye colour products that are in the new range. We have Pixi Fairy Dust, Pixi Catching Shadows chunky pencil and my favourite, Pixi Straight on Till Morning skinny pencil.

The Fairy Dust is a gorgeous white shimmery powder, with a ‘magic wand’ sponge applicator which is gorgeous over the top of colours, as a highlighter or on it’s own. The Catching Shadows chunky pencil, is a sophisticated metallic champagne colour and Straight On Till Morning is my favourite, it’s a very dark green with flecks of gold glitter.

With the Pixi Fairy Dust being a loose pigment, it doesn’t stay put for long, so works best with a primer or layer over something that will help keep it in place. I love the applicator on this product, which makes it very easy to apply precisely.

The chunky Chasing Shadows pencil is a yummy metallic, pearlescent bronze colour which is very long lasting and a very versatile colour that would suit a lot of different people.

My favourite is the Pixi Straight on Till Morning slim pencil. It’s great for lining eyes and for doing my favourite feline flicks. It’s soft enough to blend, but has the impact of a liquid liner in a pencil. Again, this colour lasts really well and is a really good strong pigment.

Which one do you like the most? Do you own any of them yet?

    1. Which item do you want the most Siobhan? Everything is beautiful, reviews of the rest of the collection coming soon. I think my must haves are the skinny pencil and the Fairy Dust. The palette blush was a potential dupe for the new Chanel striped blusher, but sadly the Pixi blush is more shimmer than colour.
