Chelsea Shopping Event

As many of you will know, I really don’t get out much. So, when I was invited to come along to this celebration of Chelsea as a shopping location I was super excited to be able to attend.

First stop, Cocomaya just minutes away from Sloane Square station. Cocomaya is like my kind of heaven, check out what we were greeted with…

Quite possibly, the best cakes I’ve ever had. I tucked into mini profiteroles, raspberry macarons and Earl Grey tea served in the prettiest vintage tea cups. It’s a tiny teashop, but packed full of stunning patisserie and chocolate. I attended the event by myself, but the PR team behind the event were super lovely and I soon spotted a few faces I knew, like Siobhan of A Girl and a Beauty Blog who I managed to catch up with via rickshaw in Jo Malone. Can I just say, rickshaw is by far the best way to travel, I wish I had one of my own.

We enjoyed hand and arm massages in Jo Malone and a mini lesson in fragrance layering, we loved the combination of Jo Malone’s rose fragrance with their new Plum Blossom fragrance, which we sniffed whilst eating Plum Blossom flavoured marshmallows and having a good catch up. Next stop, just next door to Chloe, mega dangerous territory.

Here’s just a few things that caught my eye…

Then, back into a rickshaw to nip over to Dodo, a shop I had never heard of, but Siobhan quickly told me about their cute charm jewellery inspired by animals. Very cute, very wearable, just wish they had more in silver and most of what I spotted was in gold and I don’t wear much gold. Here’s a few things that caught my eye in Dodo. I love the scarf on the left which had a gorgeous bunny print and gingham border.

I was really impressed with the design of the shop too and the Dodo PR girl was super lovely, I just wish I could remember her name. I’m awful at names, sorry, please let me know if you’re reading this as I would love to catch up.

After all this excitement, we returned to Cocomaya to help finish off the cakes and popped on the train home. It was a lovely night, great to see Chelsea again, it’s a truly lovely place to shop or browse and easy walking distance to Knightsbridge too if you want a mini London shopping trip.

Thank you to the girls at Halpern for their hospitality and to all involved in the night.

    1. It was nice, I need to go to Chelsea more often. It’s easier for me to get to than Central London too, so don’t know why we don’t pop there more often.

    1. Oh my, they were super delicious. I need to go back there as soon as I can Laduree win on the macaron front, but on mini cakes in general, Cocomaya win!
