Here’s another one of my Candian purchases, in fact this one was a gift with purchase because I spent over $60 on Anna Sui make up at Sears! I also got a bunch of samples and a cute, glittery Anna Sui vanity case. First off, again, look at how beautiful the packaging is, in the signature black gloss, carved rose shape.
Anna Sui mascara’s come in either Long or Volume, I went for Long as I’ve already got a few volume mascaras and thought this would bring something different to the game. It’s a classic black mascara, but as with the entire Anna Sui collection, it is rose scented! How amazing is that to have a scented mascara?
As you can see, this mascara contains added fibres to stick to your own lashes to create the impression of longer lashes, I’ve never used one like this before, so this was super interesting to see in action. I was pleased that it wasn’t clumpy and the fibres were not noticeable, but did add a subtle extra length. However, because the brush is straight there is not added curve or volume to lashes, so I had to ensure that I curled my lashes first to achieve the look that I like.
What’s your favourite mascara? Have you tried a Anna Sui mascara?
