Halloween Cat Inspired Make Up Look

cat1

I’ve had a great day today, a really lazy morning and then lots of time spent getting ready for a special street style shoot with the marvellous Stu and Unlimited by JK this afternoon in Shoreditch. I’ve known what I was going to wear for quite some time, I based my whole look around my Irregular Choice cat shoes, so I tried to recreate a cat look with my hair and make up without going down the tacky, expected route of drawing on whiskers and  a nose.

You’ll be able to see the full look on JK’s blog on Halloween, so be sure to check that out on the day! I’m really pleased with my make up today, I’ve not done the best job of capturing it, so I’m sure you’ll get a better picture on JK’s blog next week, but wanted to share with you some details of what products I used.

I have photoshopped the pictures a bit, because my skin is still dodgy and didn’t feel confident enough to show you unedited photos because of that, my skin has gotten better though, I can’t wait to get back to a stage where I can photograph my face happily again. Here’s the products I used:

Face: Illamasqua Skin Base in Shade 3, Bobbi Brown BB Cream in Fair, Illamasqua Powder Blush in Allure, Bare Minerals Ready Luminizer in The Shining Moment, Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation in Candy Cane.

Eyes: Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper, Lime Crime Goldfish (Yellow), Lime Crime Lotus Noir (Black), Inika Autumn Plum (Brown), Sugarpill Chromalust Goldilux (Gold), Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara, False Lashes from Eylure in London Calling, FashionistA Brow Kit.

Lips: Lime Crime Lotus Noir Eyeshadow, Illamasqua Magnetism Lipstick, Illamasqua Encounter Lipstick.

And this is what it looked with added cat ears…

I’m really pleased with this look, I thought it was really extreme, but once we were out in Shoreditch, it didn’t feel so over the top, I think I’d do this look again if I was going somewhere.

What do you think of this look? Would you wear it?

What are you planning on doing for Halloween?

    1. Awww thank you! That’s very kind of you, the photos before Photoshop are not so nice. Really bad spots on my forehead at the moment. 🙁
