Beauty Angel Skin Rejuvenation Light Therapy Review

As some of you know I’ve had some mild acne on my forehead for the past year, it’s improved greatly but is still a problem. I can’t not wear make up because it’s so red and it’s completely altered the texture of my skin, it can be very sore and has resulted in some scarring. It’s so close to going, so anything I can give a go which can help it on it’s way is on the cards.

This week, I’ve been to Cucumba in Soho to try a new Energising Light Technology (ELT) device called Beauty Angel. This is a non-invasive technique which can be used to treat a number of skin concerns including ageing, texture, tone and scarring.

So that’s what you look like during this treatment, you can have the treatment with your make up still on and without faffing about with clothes, making it super convenient for anyone. I don’t know why I was gripping onto the couch, like I was going to fall of. It really was very relaxing.

Treatments last between 15-20 minutes and for the best results it’s recommended to have regular sessions for 5-10 weeks depending on the condition of the skin and the concerns that you’re tackling.

The use of the Beauty Angel ELT has similar effects to UV sunbeds but without and of the side effects. The light therapy claims to boost the natural production of collagen, elastin and hyaluron production and helps to regenerate skin cells. This means that skin will feel firmer, smoother and more hydrated.

You can use the Beauty Angel ELT treatment to tackle fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, enlarged pores, scarring, dark circles and can even be used to promote hair and nail growth apparently. Treatments cost from £22 and can be combined with a facial for ultimate relaxation.

Immediately after the treatment skin does feel smooth and firmer and you have a healthy glow, it’s really something you would need to trial over a longer period of time though to get the full benefit.

So, if you’re the sort of person who can commit to a weekly or bi-weekly treatment this is well worth a trial. If there was one closer to home I would certainly book in for more sessions.

Have you tried any light therapy?

Do you go to the beauty salon frequently?

    1. It is really interesting. Don’t think I can afford the trips into London for more treatments plus the cost of the treatment, but if there was somewhere closer to home to try I think I would. My skin is still bothering me so I really ought to try out some new treatments.
