Oooh, such an original post I know! But in the spirit of #bloglove I think it’s a very nice post to do. So, here goes…
I’m shallow when it comes to first impressions of blogs, I like clean layouts, easy to read text and beautiful visuals. Makeup Savvy ticks those boxes. Fee’s blog is stunning and the content is awesome too. I love her photography skill and her nail swatches are amazing. The focus of Fee’s blogs is to pick up on beauty bargains and you can really tell that she has handpicked the content rather than just featuring any old thing. As an extra bonus she’s a lovely person.
British Beauty Blogger
Because quite frankly, the beauty blogger world wouldn’t be the same without this legend. If you want to know the latest beauty news way before expensive magazines and with much more honest of an opinion, you’ve got to sub to British Beauty Blogger. I’m very lucky to have met Jane a number of times and find her a complete inspiration, she’s always available if you want a chat or some help too, pretty awesome.
Petit Papillon De Nuit
First off, I’ve got a mega girl crush on Kirstie, the founding member of this beautiful blog. Petit Papillon De Nuit is an alternative fashion and beaut blog run by a trio of friends in Liverpool, over the past six months they’ve really developed the site into more of a blogazine feel, with some awesome branding. This site really inspires my to be more creative and I love the girls taste when it comes to fashion. Please, please, please check out this fledging site and show them your support.
Beauty’s Bad Habit
Lily has been busy with Uni lately and I’ve really missed her posts. I love Beauty’s Bad Habit, Lily’s blog features creative and alternative look with both high street and independent make up brands and it’s so inspiring. Again, the photography and content is amazing. Beauty’s Bad Habit was one of the first beauty blogs that I was really enthusiastic about.
Skin & Blister
Bored of all the beauty stuff? Check out Skin & Blister for something completely different. Anna’s blog is really inspiring, it’s a lifestyle blog with lots of great activity ideas and great content. Anna is a great photographer and makes the most amazing cakes! I keep telling Anna that she should write a baking book as it would be amazing.
Which blogs have been your favourite this year?
I have tons more to add, so I think I’ll start doing this as a regular feature, what do you think?
Leave me a comment telling me which blogs were your favourite blogs in 2012.
Happy New Year!
