I’m always saying to myself that I should get myself to a beauty salon more often for some me time, some pampering and primping which is always a easy way to make you feel better. However, who has the time? I’m sure I’m not alone in finding it super difficult to get things done that you want to do, life takes over and you never get yourself to that salon for a treat.
Well then, let me introduce my fellow Londoners to a wonderful problem solving company! Perfect 10 are a boutique, mobile beauty service that offer a concise menu of all your essential beauty treatments from manicure to tanning, facials and waxing. And the best bit? You don’t have to leave the house!
I had the lovely Sarah come to my home a few weeks ago to treat me to a much needed manicure and facial. Sarah was super lovely, professional but super friendly too. Plus, she arrived in a polka dot Mini (win!). A quick file and paint comes in at a snippy £15 for a 15 minute tidy up and paint with Essie nail polishes, I went for this bright orange red, called Capri.
The facial is where the indulgence is though, I experienced their Elemental Herbology Facial at £55 for 45 minutes. The facial is tailored to your skin needs and involves cleansing, toning, moisturising and a AHAs mask and some serious steam treatment from warm muslin cloths. Your skin will feel exfoliated and plump afterwards but without any awkward redness of discomfort that you can get from more cosmeceutical facials. As part of the facial you also receive a pressure point foot massage and shoulder rub. All of which helped me get rid of a little tension that was hanging around.
Generally really impressed with customer service and the experience I received would highly recommend and would book again. Only complaint is that it would be nice to have more colour choice for nails, but that’s just because I’m into my unusual shades and options or red and pink don’t cut it for me!
