Aromatherapy Associates Revive Massage and Body Oil Review

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body and Massage Oil Review

Here’s another first try from me, Aromatherapy Associates. I’ve been trying out their Massage and Body Oil from their Revive range for the last month. This is a pricy treat, retailing at a whopping £38, but you know what? You are getting your money’s worth, this is a luxury brand and you can tell.

The Revive Massage and Body Oil comes in a tall, slim, frosted glass bottle with a pump, for easy and clean dispensing of the oil. The oil also comes boxed, in the prettiest bright blue box, you know how much I love nice boxes right? Well check out this pretty detail, an embossed ribbon effect imprint on the side of the box. Oooh pretty…

The oil itself is a blend of coconut oil, rosemary oil, peach kernel oil, grapefruit peel oil and jojoba seed oil. There’s lots of other amazing, quality oils in this blend too, you can read the whole ingredients list on their website. The texture of the oil has a good slip for application but without feeling greasy, heavy or slimy. Once applied, the oil absorbs quickly without leaving any nasty residue. You can apply this on its own or apply underneath a moisturiser for a boost.

You don’t need very much product to do the job either, so one of these bottle would last you a good while. When I use this I notice an instant brightening to my skin, over long term use this oil will improve condition and tone of skin. The scent of grapefruit, juniper and rosemary is uplifting and fresh without being overpowering.

I would highly recommend this body oil for a treat, it really works and if a joy to use. I look forward to trying more items from Aromatherapy Associates after this great experience.

  1. I’d also recommend their Enrich Body Serum – I won some in a competition recently and thought it seemed pricy at £26 but it really is worth every penny. Its also a pump and the amount needed is tiny, its incredibly effective on dry skin. I’ll say I’m not keen on the smell (ylang ylang is not a favourite of mine) but its a small price to pay ;o)
