Thank goodness for the wonderful blogger that is Hello Terri Lowe for pointing me in the direction of this cutie! You all know how much I love the Illamasqua Speckled Nail Polish, the only thing that makes me sad is that the Illamasqua nail polishes are so pricy (worth it, but not for everyone) so when Terri pointed me in the way of these bargains, I was very happy.Etude House Pastel Recipe Sweet Ice Cream Nail Polish Pastel Green Speckled Nails Review and Swatch Jayne's Kitschen Jayne J ReadEtude House is a Korean beauty brand that does some adorable designs. They are hard to pick up in the UK, but there are plenty of shops on eBay that sell Asian beauty products for a very reasonable price, this nail polish was only £3.50 including postage. It does take a few weeks to arrive, but you can’t complain at that price, it’s cheaper than Barry M! You can find them on eBay here.

It’s got bronze, pastel pink, pastel green and black pieces of sparkly glitter in it. It’s very similar to the Illamasqua speckled nail polish, however, the Etude House one features metallic glitter and the Illamasqua one has matte glitter in just one shade.

The cute ice cream cone bottle is surprisingly easy to apply with and super, super cute! However, the application is quite thin, so you need a few coats. The glitter is also more sparse than the Illamasqua ones. Anyway, without the comparison, it’s a very cute polish with a nice finish. The quality isn’t amazing, but I still like it.  For only £3.50 you can’t really complain and I’m actually quite happy to just have it to look pretty on my dressing table.

Have you tried any Asian beauty brands?

What do you think of this nail polish?

  1. I love Etude House! I’m currently on my way to trying the majority of their skincare products, haha.

Very cute polish, though..I’m definitely considering it!
