So, apparently it’s Summer right now in the UK? It might not look or feel like it, but I’m sure many of you will be planning on making the most of the opportunity to get into your swimwear and shorts and hit a festival or a beach somewhere looking stylish. Sadly, I won’t be. However, brand new swimwear brand Bondi Bather is strongly making me wish I was going somewhere and that I had a reason to spend on some on a new swimsuit. The new collection from British business woman and Bondi resident Kerry Cusack launched exclusively online this month and I really wanted to show you some of the key pieces from the collection.
The Bondi Bather range features bikini separates and one pieces in top notch fabric with a UV rating of 50+, the luxurious fabric ensures that your Bondi Bather will maintain its perfect cut and colour will last for years, making them investment pieces for daytime styling or sea side lounging. My favourite pieces fromt the collection feature bright, colourful photographic prints from Bondi Beach resident and photographer, Brad Malyon, to boot, Brad is also a Bondi lifeguard and star of Aussie TV show, Bondi Rescue. Each colour and print appears on a choice of eight different pieces from skimpy string bikinis to practical racer back swimsuits. There is literally something for everyone.
To coincide with the launch of Bondi Bather in the UK, the brand have also launched a fabulous international modelling competition via their social media channels. The competition is the search for the next face of Bondi Bather. Judged by a celebrity panel, one winner will win a trip to Australia for her and a friend and the chance to star in a photoshoot for Bondi Bather. For all those budding models out there, this is a great opportunity to have an amazing experience and to gain some valuable modelling experience. As an ex-model myself, I know how challenging it is to break into the industry, so an opportunity like this is not to be sniffed at.
If you or someone you know would like to enter this excellent modelling competition, they can do so via the Bondi Beach Facebook page, submissions are also being taken via Twitter and Instagram when you tag a photo with #FaceOfBondiBather.
