Here’s something completely brand new for you which you can pick up from all the usual Bourjois stockist as of yesterday. This dinky little pot is the latest innovation from Bourjois Paris and I think you’re going to love it. I must complain a little bit though about the not all that exciting cover design, it’s not something that would catch my eye among the masses of the Boots beauty department, but you know me, I’m fussy. Anyway, it’s very similar packaging to the other Bourjois blushes and shadows.
Inside you’ve got a useful if not small mirror, always an added bonus and it’s magnetic fastening meaning little change of it popping open in your bad. The product is a flat, peach coloured cream, which really doesn’t look like it’s going to do anything, however, it’s got a little surprise for you in store!
This little blush is designed to adapt to the unique pH of your skin, meaning that it will create the right pink for any skintone that it goes on. I’ve swatched it below and it’s not very clear, but it created a subtle pastel pink on me. A much more natural look that I usually opt for with blush, but nonetheless it’s pretty and the gimmick is a good bit of fun. This technology isn’t new though, you’ve been able to get a pH lipstick from Barry M (it’s green!) for a very long time and I’ve seen lip products from other brands too such as Too Faced, but it’s new to Bourjois. At £7.99 it’s a tad pricey for me as it doesn’t offer the colour pay off that I personally like, however, if you’re looking for something more natural looking and which is a good bit of fun, go ahead! They’ve also released a lip colour (gloss) in the same range, so that’s worth checking out too.
What colour did it go for you?
