I’ve always loved the Anna Sui brand, it’s an American designer label originally founded in the 90’s and always has a slightly gothic vibe that appeals to my teenage self. You’ve been able to get Anna Sui fragrance in the UK for a long time and I’ve owned lots of them. However, for some random reason, we’ve never had access to the stunningly amazing make up line in the UK until now! I’ve got a few pieces from a visit to Toronto, Canada last year. You can find my Anna Sui reviews here.
So, just in time for Christmas, ASOS have pulled together the awesome Anna Sui x Minnie Mouse collection and a couple of Anna Sui palettes for the UK audience for the first time. You can find more information and swatches over on British Beauty Blogger and Really Ree, but right here, right now I’ve just going to show you some of my favourite pieces.
There’s a super cute Minnie Mouse mascara, all of the Anna Sui products contain a signature Tea Rose scent and the mascara is no exception. I’ve got one of the main line mascaras and it’s really good quality too.
This might just be the most elaborate and exciting nail polish bottle you can buy, who wouldn’t want a Minnie Mouse shaped nail polish? I suspect that this shade is the same as the one I reviewed here and again is Tea Rose scented when it dries.
There’s two shades in this gorgeous gift tin, I obviously prefer the red. Each tin comes with a lipstick, where the bullet in Minnie Mouse shaped and a bow shaped compact featuring two eye colours. The packaging is over the top and stunning, I absolutely adore it!
In addition to the Anna Sui x Minnie Mouse collection, ASOS are also stocking an exclusive lip and eye palette from the mainline. It’s all a bit pricy compared to competitors, but I think for the unique packaging you can completely justify it! I’m also hoping that this is a sign that we might encounter the fuller range in the UK in the near future. In America and Canada they have the most stunning counters in department stores and I would just love to see one in the UK to perk up the Beauty Halls with a touch of gothic glam.
What do you think of the collection?
