Do you want to know another awesome thing about Brighton? They build playgrounds knowing that adults will want to play on them too. I swear this playground near our house is way bigger than it actually needs to be for children and naturally, we had to investigate! In the name of fashion blogging, of course.
You know I’ve got a thing for watermelon things at the moment, right? Well, here’s the latest ensemble to combine my most favourite fruity items in the wardrobe and I hope you’ll enjoy it. Read on to find out what I’m wearing.
The watermelon crop top is from the SS14 New Look collection, they did a number of pieces in this print and this is my favourite, although I’m feeling a tad podgy to wear crop tops with my midriff showing at the moment, I’m loving them underneath dungarees and dresses or with some high waisted.
The dungarees are a vintage find from Beyond Retro and have been my favourite purchase in a very, very long time. Unfortunately they recently encountered a bizarre door handle collision accident which has resulted in a most giant injury on their ass, I’m not sure if they’ll survive the surgery, so feeling a bit sad as this may be the last outfit post featuring them.
The tights are House of Holland for Pretty Polly, picked up from TK Maxx and the watermelon beanie is from the ASOS sale last year. I’ve worn them with an Accessorize bag and burgundy Converse. The necklace is my beloved watermelon from Lucie Ellen.
And here’s a bonus picture to show you that adults can even use the slide in this Brighton playground. And back to the point, I love this outfit as a versatile combo that I would wear just out and about the shops or to a pub/bar in the evening. Let me know what you think of it and thanks as always to Miz for taking the snaps.
