Another day, another glitter nail polish review. Zoya is another nail polish brand that I love, their unusual shaped bottles, professional quality and gorgeous range of colours are awesome. Their Pixie Dust collection is a new range of glitter that launched in time for the festive season, this colour is called Nyx. In the bottle it’s a denim blue base with fine silver and blue glitter, very pretty and sparkly.
On the nails it’s quite different though, most glitters have a gloss finish but this one dries semi-matte, a bit like the concrete and sand textured polishes that have been popular in the past. Even with a glossy top coat it still dries quite matte, the texture is not smooth either, it’s very textured and gritty so not for everyone. The silver sparkle is what comes through the most and the lasting power is awesome. It’s a classier glitter polish really, doesn’t tick all my boxes but I think it will appeal to others more.
Application and longevity of this polish is awesome, I’d still recommend it I just don’t think the colour is as exciting as other glitters available out there. Have you tried any Zoya polishes?
