It’s almost no coat weather here in Brighton, but in that annoying way that it looks really sunny and then you go outside and realise that it’s all lies and it’s just as cold as it was last week. That’s why I’m all about layers at the moment! I can’t wait for the warmer weather and being able to sit on the beach again without shivering or getting a numb bum.
The other great thing about layers is that they are working a charm at disguising that extra weight I’ve gained that I’m still feeling self concious of. I’ve changed a few things recently though and things are starting to balance out. Anyway, George at Asda came to my aid to help restock my wardrobe this month and I’m mighty grateful, most of this outfit features stuff from them.
The coat is from New Look, which Miz found for me and is doing great. The licensed Pac Man t-shirt, green hoody and denim skirt are all from George at Asda and all under £10 each which is blooming marvellous. I altered the skirt by cutting off some of the length though as it was a bit of an awkward length for me.
Anyway, really impressed with the selection at George at Asda, will have to check them out more often. They have some really fun The Simpsons pieces at the mo too which are a great dupe for some of the more expensive collabs the franchise has had lately.
My trusty Dr. Martens continue to be a great investment and the burgundy colour choice still goes with everything, so I’m really pleased I splashed out on those in the Winter.
The Adventure Time BMO hat is licensed Cartoon Network and you can find it all over the internet at places like Forbidden Planet or even Amazon. The acrylic gemstone necklace is from Sugar and Vice, a ace indie brand run by two lovely creative friends.
My make up is a bit meh today, but I want to take this chance to point out this lovely shimmering glowing highlight on my cheeks which is my first try of Phee’s Make Up Tips Glow Highlighter, isn’t it pretty? More on that soon.
