It’s cold, it won’t stop raining and you book a spa day to cheer yourself. Then you realise that you don’t own appropriate swimwear to enjoy the pool, so you head to the High Street to find something that is inexpensive, not dull and fits. It’s a totally nightmare. Don’t do what I did, shop online and open up your possibilities otherwise you’ll end up with the drabbest sports apparel from one of the many discount outlets. Whether you’re shopping for your holidays, exercise or a spa day, it’s good to be able to feel great about your outfit, it gives you confidence when we might not feel so confident. I’ve scoured the internet for some beautiful, colourful vintage inspired styles that you can invest in right now. Let me know if you spot any other cute swimwear brands, because I am currently in the market for something new!

Shopping for swimwear off season…
If you want to broaden your options of swimwear, there are tons of options online from vintage, handmade to heritage brands. If you have time to plan ahead, shopping with a brand from or in a warmer country will naturally massively open up your options. There are some great Australian swimwear brands for example, such as Black Milk Clothing who are also famous for their leggings. Scour Etsy too, there are sellers all over the World offering just about any type of swimwear you can think of. You can even find custom made and made to order items if you have something super specific in mind.
If you’re looking for speedy, convenient shopping within the UK, with shipping options worldwide, UK Swimwear have an amazing selection since it’s their speciality. One of the brands that stood out for me is, Gottex, which was introduced to me via the UK Swimwear team. This is a wonderful choice if you’re looking for a timeless choice with high-quality fabric designed with many years of experience. Gottex is a brand from Tel Aviv in Israel and have been manufacturing swimwear since 1956, so they know what they’re doing. The brand offers everything from skimpy bikinis to structured, vintage inspired one pieces and even something for the sportier swimmer. Not everything is my personal taste, but I was impressed by the vast range of shapes and patterns.
This is a sponsored post in collaboration with UK Swimwear, all opinions are my own and I genuinely love the items that I’ve featured. I’ve also featured a variety of other brands and sellers that I would recommend for balance. Any questions, get in touch!
