Do you love obscure Japanese video games that are impossible to explain without a demo? Then you know all about Katamari Damacy, the cult status gaming franchise about rolling up all the things with a sticky ball to appease the King and make new planets. Ok then. Believe me, it’s incredible and if you ever […]
You probably already know the nylon clothing brand with a alt, nerd twist, Black Milk, but do you know about Wild Bangarang? Well, these guys are your UK version, based in Sussex, they’re doing a pretty swell job at capturing the geek market. With collaborations with World of Warcraft, Tokidoki and WWE already under their belt, it’s awesome to see this fledgling brand flourish with another ridiculously good collab. I’ve been an Overwatch fan since the start and absolutely love how they’ve translated this to shiny nylon legwear.
I’d like to write more often about gaming, although I’m far from an expert. What I do know is that I find video games an awesome form of relaxation and a well needed distraction from reality from time to time. I’m not a hardcore gaming, but I definitely enjoy a gaming break over a Netflix […]
This is one of my favourite illustration series that I’ve done recently. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World is one of my favourite films, brought to us by the mega Edgar Wright, I’ve watched is SO many times. Miz bought me the Scott Pilgrim comic book collection last year, created by Bryan Lee O’Malley and Leslie Hung. I’m on book 4 of the series right now and I love it just as much of the films. Anyway, I set myself a challenge of recreating lead character Ramona Flowers as a series of mash ups and here’s what I came up with.
Apparently it’s Christmas soon, so that seems like a good enough reason to create a list of some really, really cool stuff you can get on the awesome Etsy. Since Miz is currently engrossed in Fallout 4 on PS4 and I continue to be powering ahead with Borderlands 2 DLC’s, I thought it’d be fun to pick out some of the best Etsy bits and bobs with a gaming theme. Enjoy!

OMG! OMG! Hold onto your badonkadonks, here’s a first look at the upcoming Borderlands clothing collection with the awesome, UK based Insert Coin Clothing. As some of you know, Borderlands has been the game that got me back into gaming and I absolutely LOVE it. I also love Insert Coin Clothing, they are awesome dudes, so this is an exciting release that’s coming early 2016.
I’ve been wanting to recreate a Borderlands make up look for ages and just haven’t gotten around to it. So pleased that I did this, I filmed the whole thing on Periscope too if you’re quick you can rewatch the shambles! There was going to be a YouTube video of this but my camera packed in less than half way through *face palm* I told you technology is against me when it comes to YouTube! Anyway, find out what’s going on in this pic by reading on.
World of Warcraft?! Yes, really. Those of you with little knowledge of the game will, like me be picturing some Dungeons and Dragons type nerd world where creepy geeks who live in their parents basement work for hours to create mega fantasy characters in order to either fuck other virtual characters or fuck over other characters without even having to leave the house. Thank you South Park. I thought it was about time that I found out what the hype is REALLY about.
Last week we went to MCM ComicCon, I’ll write a bit more about that very soon. One of the things that I was excited to check out though was the new Hello Kitty collab from Insert Coin Clothing which I talked about earlier in the month. The collection made it’s debut at London ComiCon and I picked up one of the pieces.
