Outfit Post: Yumi Bird Print Collared Dress and George Fox Bag

It really is a challenge to do outfit posts at this time of year, it’s a blogger cliche but it’s so true! Natural light makes life so much easier. It’s even more challenging when you run out of batteries for your external flash which is usually the life saver in this situation. Anyway, time for a new outfit post shot by Miz in the hallways of our block of flats, turned out pretty nice.

Wayne Stock Wayne’s World T-Shirt from Nerdoh

Party on Garth! Party on Wayne! Wayne’s World is definitely one of my fave films, such a classic! If you didn’t already know, my degree is in Cinema (not that it came in handy ever) and I spend the majority of my spare time watching films and TV with Miz, we are definitely some kind of nerds/geeks or something. And yea, I don’t know what I’m doing in this picture…

DIY Purple Gingham Skirt, Dr. Martens and The Murderburgers Tee

Whilst visiting my Mum last week, I managed to borrow her sewing machine and have brought it home to Brighton for some adventures. I haven’t used a sewing machine in about 10 years, maybe even longer. I spent a couple of hours finding tutorials and watching some videos and I MADE A SKIRT!

Pac Man and BMO love…

It’s almost no coat weather here in Brighton, but in that annoying way that it looks really sunny and then you go outside and realise that it’s all lies and it’s just as cold as it was last week. That’s why I’m all about layers at the moment! I can’t wait for the warmer weather and being able to sit on the beach again without shivering or getting a numb bum.

Double denim, candy colours and Hello Kitty…

Hooray for the first day of the year where the weather has actually been appealing and the temperature is right for popping out to take outfit photos. Today’s weather has made me smile and has timed well with me finally feeling better after a really bad cold.

Outfit Post: Dr. Martens Tartan Dress and Sugar & Vice Planet Necklace

So, it’s October and it’s still not cold enough for a coat? What’s that all about? Well, it’s raining today in Brighton but yesterday it was another super sunny day, fresh with a cold air but still no need for boots or a coat. We headed to the local park so that Miz could practise […]

Outfit Post: Black Milk Cat Leggings and Creeper T-Shirt

The Black Milk collection continues to grow and they have well and truly converted me to wearing leggings, in some ways. Obviously if you’re wearing Primark quality black leggings that are too small for you and you can see your knickers and even your cellulite through them, that’s totally not a good move. However, when […]

Outfit Post: New Look Watermelon Crop Top and Beyond Retro Dungarees

Do you want to know another awesome thing about Brighton? They build playgrounds knowing that adults will want to play on them too. I swear this playground near our house is way bigger than it actually needs to be for children and naturally, we had to investigate! In the name of fashion blogging, of course. […]

Outfit Post: Vans, Beyond Retro and Lulu Guiness x Uniqlo

Another outfit post! Wow, you’d think I was a real fashion blogger or something. However, unlike a real fashion blogger, I’m not wearing any current season stuff and the lighting isn’t great. Last week, Miz and I had a proper day off together for the first time in ages, we headed to Brighton Pier for […]

Outfit Post: Star Wars Vans and Illustrated People Han Solo T-Shirt

This morning, Miz and I headed to the skate park in Brighton so that Miz could get some practise in after a very long break of not skating. I unintentionally went dressed like a Star Wars themed skater girl, hopefully with a lot more originality that the Avril Lavigne type and with my super colourful, […]
