Last month, I reported about one of my favourite brands, Sugarpill launching a very special limited edition palette to celebrate the Edward Scissorhands 25th Anniversary, I’m pleased to say that I’ve got one! And it’s beautiful. I’ve created two looks with it to show you the diversity and performance of the colours. I got mine from UK seller, CutECOsmetics, they’re out at the moment but I believe they are getting one more shipment so keep an eye out for this limited edition beauty!
OMG! So much good beauty news discovered on Instagram last night! This one makes me so happy as it’s so lovely to see a quirky, non-mainstream brand win a big collaboration like this. I’ve been a massive Sugarpill fan for years and love the owner, Amy (aka Shrinkle) so much. On Monday (28th Sept) this (mostly) vegan, 100% cruelty free brand will be launching a limited edition to celebrate 25 years of Tim Burton’s classic film, Edward Scissorhands.
Last week I made a flying visit to London and to my old home area of Shoreditch to finally step foot in Ace Hotel despite living in a building attached to it for over 6 months! Anyway, the 2 hour round trip to London is always worth it when it means Illamasqua and most importantly getting to spend some time with the amazing and inspiring Alex Box. The team introduced us to the new Earth collection which is available now and I’ve got two of the products to show you.
Ok, I admit it, I am a make up snob. I’m not talking a love for ONLY luxury brands, my love lies with those interesting, hidden gems of product ranges with professional quality and exciting stories behind them. I’m always going to prefer to spend my money on those brands, however, in the interest of being a good blogger, today I’m investigating some budget brands.
One of the beauty things that I’ve never quite gotten is nude lipstick. Why would I want to wear a neutral coloured lipstick when I can have COLOUR!? However, in the past couple of weeks I’ve stumbled on a few nude lipsticks that have been a bit of a beauty revelation for me. To me, nude lipstick generally means brown lipstick, or pale pink which looks bizarre on top of too much tan and a look that I personally really dislike. However, recently I’ve found a few pink nudes (that’s what I’m going to call them) which I’ve actually been loving.

Thought I ought to hurry up and write something else to be on the homepage, as everytime I was logging in and seeing the Honest Burgers review it was just making me ridiculously hungry and desperate for yet another burger. So, here’s my go to lipstick at the moment from Kiko Cosmetics’ Boulevard Rock collection, […]

There’s three shades in the new collectionL Soaked, Glissade and Luster. The […]
