I’ve been keeping my eye out for Gudetama merch in the UK ever since I saw the announcement of his creation by Sanrio sometime last year. If you haven’t seen him before he’s from the same peeps who brought us Hello Kitty and is essentially a lazy egg. It’s a bit strange, but I relate to him so therefore he’s a hit with me. As with a lot of Japanese merch it can be difficult to get hold of in Europe or often watered down or copied, so I was very excited to see that UK retailers, Truffle Shuffle had bagged an exclusive range from this strange little fellow.
OMG! So much good beauty news discovered on Instagram last night! This one makes me so happy as it’s so lovely to see a quirky, non-mainstream brand win a big collaboration like this. I’ve been a massive Sugarpill fan for years and love the owner, Amy (aka Shrinkle) so much. On Monday (28th Sept) this (mostly) vegan, 100% cruelty free brand will be launching a limited edition to celebrate 25 years of Tim Burton’s classic film, Edward Scissorhands.
I’m feeling off my blog game lately, so thought I’d do something different and take things back to basics with a bit of beauty news instead. There’s so many new products coming out all of the time and thought it would be cool to just share the stories that have really caught my attention this […]
Gosh, lack of internet and a dodgy laptop sure have made blogging a mega challenge. I received the Illamsqua Creators collection back in October I think and I can’t believe that it’s only now that I’m getting around to writing about any of it. The Creators collection from Illamasqua, is a collaboration between the British […]
This week I went to meet up with Sally from The Cafe Cat in Islington for a lovely lunch. We headed the The Blue Legume on Upper Street, just a short walk between Angel and Highbury and Islington stations. This restaurant and juice bar is part of a small chain with other locations in Stoke […]
One of my favourite designer brands is Marc Jacobs, so when they announced the arrival of a beauty range a couple of years ago, obviously I was very excited to find out more. The range launched last year exclusively into Sephora. However, unfortunately, we don’t have Sephora in the UK (we should, but we don’t), […]
Everyone loves a good palette right? Blogger world has gone mad for Urban Decay palettes, especially the Naked palettes, but for me, they aren’t all that great. Wait until you see this beauty and then you’ll forget all about boring old Urban Decay! This is the latest festive palette from American brand, Too Faced. Check […]
I’ve always loved the Anna Sui brand, it’s an American designer label originally founded in the 90’s and always has a slightly gothic vibe that appeals to my teenage self. You’ve been able to get Anna Sui fragrance in the UK for a long time and I’ve owned lots of them. However, for some […]
