Running a little behind on this project, but oh well! There’s bigger things in the world to be worrying about right now. Anyway, time for a double whammy of day 9 & 10 on the same day you lucky people, I hope I can brighten your day even just a little bit with some creative, indie biz loveliness. Today is my 7th Blog Birthday too, WTF?
Anyway, I met the lovely lady behind Silly Old Sea Dog at London Edge last year via the magnificent Perelandra and instantly fell in love with the brand. Everything is made in the UK and they cater to sizes 6-24 including custom designs. They have a gorgeous range of practical, vintage inspired silhouettes in a variety of kitsch, colourful, cute and playful prints. It’s pretty much my ideal dress brand.
I very nearly didn’t post these photos that Miz took for me today as I was feeling a combination of hungover, fat and tired. However, Miz (because he’s sweet and because he has to because he’s my boyfriend) assures me that I don’t look fat, I look curvy. I’m not used to being curvy.

So there were a few fails with this outfit post. 1. We waited until the evening to shoot, so I’m shattered and my make up is looking tired and we’d been to Brighton so I’m a bit windswept and 2. The lighting was weird, so Miz is making a little appearance in shadow form. Oh […]
Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the AW14 preview for one of my favourite high street stores, Urban Outfitters. I’m still a rookie when it comes to writing about fashion events, as I don’t get invited to many, so I think I will mainly let the pictures do the talking. Overall, […]
So I’ve been meaning to do some more modelling for ages. When I lived in Leeds I often modelled for local photographers and brands for a bit of fun and was signed to a small agency and got a bit of work from it too. I love being on shoots, it’s fun and I love […]
So, when I was home for Christmas, at my Mum’s new place in Wales, she introduced my to a box labelled, Jayne’s Teenage Time Capsule. Naturally, I had to have a browse and I found my first ever blog, my very own handwritten diary that I started in 1999, written in a fountain pen that […]
