Shoes with Faces

If you didn’t already know, I love anything Kawaii (cute) or kitsch and have a particular thing for things with faces on that shouldn’t. Pictures of food with faces on for example. Recently, I’ve spotted lots of shoes with faces on that I just love and here are some of my favourites, that will have you staring at your feet cooing all day they are just so sweet.

1. Charlotte Olympia Tessa Cat Wedges £625

To be fair I would love to own anything from Charlotte Olympia’s range, I love her classic shapes in luxurious fabric with fun, kitsch and vintage inspired touches. They are the kind of accessories that would make you happy to wear and that you could keep forever, the vintage pieces of the future. The Tessa Wedges are available in Red and Black and have a cute embroidered cat face on the front, so very cute! These ones are cute AND sexy.

2. Marc by Marc Jacobs Mouse Pumps from £215

Marc by Marc Jacobs have featured these sweet mouse ballet pumps for a few seasons now and everytime I spot them I love them! This season they are available in studded leather and handy elasticated metallic leather, however it’s the traditional style ones I love and wish I’d gotten hold of when I had the chance (not that I could afford them!)

3. Irregular Choice Cheese on Toast Cat Wedges £65

The more affordable option, these Irregular Choice cuties have appeared on my blog before. A practical heel and height, these lovely puurrrfeect kitty wedges come in black, bronze, silver and leopard print with real sticky up whiskers and a tail that curls around the back of the shoe! Oh, how I love Irregular Choice!

4. TUK Kitty Mary Janes from £50

If you’re looking for something a bit more alternative, the Kitty shoes from TUK (a punk shoe brand specialising in Creepers) have been around for a long while and available in a selection of prints and shapes. It’s these classic black Mary Janes that I love the most. All of the TUK shoes are also Vegan Friendly if this is something that matters to you.

  1. I am all in for the heels. 😉

  2. Hi Jayne, a lot less exciting than these but I’m liking the new Mary Portas range for Clarke’s – especially the La Jane suede ones in teal and ox blood – and the black patent La Contrary ones. Classics.

    1. Ahh those are the ones I like too! What great colours, so pretty, I hope you will be purchasing? Either colour would be great with the Hobbs NW3 Dress you have!
