Clever Crafts: Jewellery by ZincWhite

As you all know I do love a bit of quirky jewellery and if it’s been hand made or from a independent company I’m bound to love it even more. This week I FINALLY bought a piece from a crafter that has been on my radar for years. ZincWhite is a Yorkshire based brand who specialise in genius upcycled accessories for fashion and the home.

I used to see their wares at craft fairs in Leeds and at the fabulous indie shopping venue, Bird’s Yard. They make beautiful, quality fashion accessories from all sorts of things: typewriter parts, paint brushes and pencils being the key items. I’ve always been drawn to the quality of this range.

This week I purchased and ordered this Derwent pencil necklace which has been created in partnership with The Big Draw. I purchased it via ZincWhite’s folksy shop and I received it very quickly. Isn’t it amazing?!

I love it because it goes with everything, it’s unique because it’s hand made and it still smells like pencils. Amazing stuff!

Here are a few other bits that I really like from the ZincWhite folks…

What do you think? Would you wear some of these designs?

You can find out more about ZincWhite on their website and on their Facebook page.
