Ahhh I’m in love again. After being slightly disappointed about the performance of the stunning looking LAQA&CO Nail Polish Pens, I was hoping that their new Fat Lip Pencils would save the day. The whole brand is just perfect, each box features a different print from a upcoming designer and the products just look gorgeous, so unique and eye catching.
So, when I got my hands on the LAQA&CO Fat Lip Pencil in Lambchop and swatched it for the first time, I was quite excited. Check out this awesome, hot pink colour.
The consistency of the pencil is very smooth, buttery  and soft, a good balance between a balm and a lipstick. Really easy to glide on from the chunky pencil and provides bright, balmy colour, which doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. I found that the colour covered most evenly applied over lip balm. You do have to reapply during the day, but this doesn’t bother me as it’s quite nice to reapply for the slightly minty scent and little moisture boost.
Here it is in action, in some rare natural daylight from me!
I like the shade, because it’s similar to Lime Crime Centrifushia, but a slightly toned down version, so a bit easier to wear in the daytime. A great feature of this Fat Lip Pencil which took me a few days to realise, is that you don’t need to sharpen it, you can screw it up from the bottom of the stick, to reveal plenty more product.
The LAQA&CO Fat Lip Pencils come in a range of lush colours, you can see some excellent swatches over on Lipglossiping’s blog and browse and purchase from the ever so lovely CutECOsmetics for £13 each, which when you see how much product is in the stick, it’s well worth it.
