The Miraculous Hair Routine

So everyone is familiar with the Tangle Teezer right? As usual, I was super sceptical, I didn’t want to spend a tenner on a plastic brush that looks like something my sister would use to clean the horses, I completely put the good reviews down to fantastic PR and marketing and not much else, sad heh?

Well, after hearing NOTHING but good things about this plastic brush, I asked Twitter what they thought and everyone told me how great they are, so I decided to pick one up. First off, can I just say how difficult it was to locate a Tangle Teezer? This goes to show how popular they are as almost everywhere had sold out. I wanted a nice colour, but was left with the choice between pink and orange, so went with the lesser of two evils and went for Hot Pink.

I’ve been using the Tangle Teezer everyday, instead of my usual brush and comb combination. I use it in the shower to distribute shampoo and conditioner and on wet hair with absolute ease, it really does what it says on the tin!

After my holiday, my hair was feeling pretty dry and lifeless so I teamed the heaven sent Tangle Teezer with two hair oils which I’m finding make the most amazing routine. I’ve been alternating between the Organic Surge and Burt’s Bees shine shampoo and conditioner that I have reviewed previously to wash my hair with. After washing I use the Tangle Teezer and a combination of two hair oils.

Straight after combing my hair, I use two pumps of this Argan Oil Hair Treatment, which I picked up in Superdrug for a fairly reasonable price of £9.99. It lasts ages and is fair cheaper than buying a pure Argan Oil product. Anyway, two to three pumps of this Argan Oil Hair Treatment distributed through my hair with the Tangle Teezer helps my hair dry quicker and smooths everything out. For the dry tips or for an extra boost, I use the tiniest amount of the Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment (which I got from a Blog Swap) which really helps to feed dry hair and tidy up any dry, split ends.

Seriously, my hair has never looked so healthy, it’s smooth and shiny and hydrated. I’m completely converted to Tangle Teezer and can’t recommend it enough!

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

    1. I know! Love it, I would love to try pure Argan Oil as well to compare as well. It’s really great.

  2. The Tangle Teezer is amazing isn’t it? I’ve had mine about 4 years now and it’s literally changed my hair life – I used to have to get other people to detangle my hair!

    1. I can’t believe how many compliments I had on my hair even one day after using Tangle Teezer, it was the only major change I made to my hair, so super impressed. I wouldn’t have said I even had problem with my hair until I saw the results from this.

  3. I’ve not tried a Tangle Teezer yet, everyone loves them it seems. I have used the Macadamia Healing Oil though….hair saver!!!

  8. I adore these – it has been brilliant on by daughters long hair and for her to sort her hair out after swimming instead of coming home with a tangled mess.

    1. It really is amazing. Did you see the angel wing shaped one? Very cute.
