I have more Lime Crime loveliness to share with you today. Another, new product from Lime Crime is their liquid eyeliners, Uniliners, I’ve been playing with the sky blue shade, Blue Milk.
As always the packaging is super cute, purple with ivy vines and cobwebs in lovely chartreuse and white colour.
I was surprised by the size of the Lime Crime Uniliner, it’s much smaller than I was expecting. I was imagining it to be about the size of a traditional lipgloss, it is however, much smaller, about the size of a crayon. Which personally, I think it fine, you’re never going to use up a lipgloss sized tube of liquid eyeliner, especially in such a strange colour.
The brush is fairly standard, a fine bristle brush which is very flexible. I more commonly use the Barry M Liquid Liners and Illasmasqua Precision Inks which have more of a pointed felt tip style brush, I like them because they are stiff and easy to control. The Lime Crime Uniliner brush is softer, so in some aspects makes it easier to be creative with, but if you’re not used to using a brush, some might find it tricky.
The Lime Crime Uniliner in Blue Milk is a very pretty matte pastel blue, pretty similar to Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream nail polish (one of my faves) because it’s a pale colour I find that the liner needs a thick application for a solid colour, as you can see above, in some areas it’s not very solid. The problem can be easily overcome by applying the product in a thick coat, so to do this, I don’t wipe off excess before applying.
I can’t wait to try some looks with this eyeliner.
What do you think? Would you wear this colour liquid eyeliner?
What’s your favourite liquid eyeliner?
