As some of you will know, I’ve had trouble with my skin recently due to illness, it’s left me with quite a bit of redness, under the skin spots and a bit of scarring, particularly on my forehead. I’ve been on the look out for anything that can help calm this down, so when I was sent the newest release from Nourish Skin, I was hopeful that I’d have something to help out.
The new Nourish Treatment, Argan Skin Rescue is exclusive to their website and new stockist, Planet Organic. It’s set to become their hero product. If you don’t know much about this new skincare range, you can read my previous post which introduces the range in more detail.
The new Argan Skin Rescue is a blend of Morrocan Argan Oil, Abyssinian Oil, Neroli Oil and Ginger. The oil claims to improve collagen in the skin, improve the plumpness of skin and to generally protect against signs of ageing. The product is 90% organic too and made in the UK, double win.
The base of the product is Argan Oil which we all know is a great ingredient for cosmetics, it’s rich in Vitamin E so fantastic for evening skin tone and helping to heal scars and imperfections. Next up is Ginger Root Extract, which can help with inflammation and fighting free radicals. Orange Peel Oil for Vitamin A & C and the beautiful Neroli Oil (which can help calm mood) which helps with healing and is particularly good for tackling scarring.
You only need one drop of this oil to cover your face and you can use it as an intensive moisturiser or as a overnight treatment, I’ve been using it over night. I find that it’s fairly lightweight for an oil and doesn’t feel sticky on the skin, once massaged in it is barely noticeable on the skin, which makes it very pleasant to use. It’s not strongly scented, but you can smell the Neroli, which I really love.
I would really recommend this as a facial oil, I’ve really noticed an improvement in the redness in my skin and it’s also helped hydrate my tired looking skin.
Have you tried Nourish skincare? What’s your favourite facial oil?
