I’ve finally done it! I’ve finally been a good beauty blogger and gotten my mitts on some Clinique Chubby Sticks, yes I know, I’m slow. But if you know me, you’ll know that I’m not want to follow trends, if I read a gazillion blog reviews of something I get bored and don’t bother looking into it more. However, after my purchase of the Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain and loving it, I thought I ought to try out the product that clearly inspired it.
I’ve been seriously enjoying all three of these Clinique Chubby Sticks: Curvy Candy, Mighty Mimosa and Boutiful Blush.
You know what these look like, chunky lip crayons with screw up bases so that you get plenty of product in your tube. They come with silver caps and in lots of yummy colours. They are super easy to apply and offer long lasting, moisturising sheer colour. It’s essentially a really nice tinted lip balm.
Here they are swatch in true beauty blogger style…
Curvy Candy is a pretty candy pink, Boutiful Blush is my favourite it’s a terracotta red shade and Mighty Mimosa is a shimmery orange toned pink and the subtlest of the three. I’ve been wearing one of these pretty much everyday, they are super lightweight and moisturising, easy to reapply during the day, this has got to be one of the easiest ways to wear lip colour daily.
Clinique are just about to launch the Chubby Stick Intense, which looks like my ideal thing, you can see some amazing reviews already knocking about the blogosphere, but I really like these swatches from The Sunday Girl, the red looks amazing. For a sneak peek of the full range, check out British Beauty Blogger, these are going to be amazing this Winter!
What can I say? I may have been converted back to Clinique after a long time!
What do you think of the Clinique Chubby Sticks?
