New Lime Crime Alchemy Collection

Here’s the latest news from one of my favourite brands, Lime Crime. The beautiful people at Lime Crime are launching a new capsule collection in time for Halloween and it’s inspired by witchcraft and  magic. The Lime Crime Alchemy collection launches on the 13th October. Here’s the beautiful promo image, how much do you love the green eyes?

The Lime Crime Alchemy collection will include a new Fantasy Palette as well as two new lipstick shades and a ‘mook’ which from what I can gather will be a limited edition ‘zine to accompany the collection.

The new press eyeshadow palette uses a new technique to Lime Crime which creates a multi-tonal colour which sparkles and changes depending on the light. The colours in the palette include:

Incantation: Metallic copper with fiery sparks.
Lucky Charm: Forest green/firefly green shift.
Love Potion #9: Purple/mint shift.
Spellbound: White/gold shift.
Divination: Slate blue/peacock shift

I’ve not seen the phrase shift before in cosmetics, I’m thinking it must refer to the the flecks of colour in the base which will appear when they reflect light. The collection also includes two new lipsticks:

Poisonberry: Deliciously dangerous berry-purple with a violet glow.
Serpentina: Seductive deep green with a snake-like sheen.

The lipsticks really remind me of Illamasqua lipstick shades, what do you think? I think the purple is particularly amazing. I’m really excited to see this collection in the flesh.

What do you think of Lime Crime?

Would you wear these colours?

  1. I don’t normally wear lipstick but that green one looks amazing… i dont think i would wear it but i absolutly LOVE the colour x

    1. I think it’s going to be quite a sheer colour, so might work for layering. If you want quirky coloured lipsticks you should check out OCC Lip Tars and Illamasqua.
