Alice & Peter Fancy Choco Cupcake Perfume Review

I’ve got to say that this is the cutest thing I’ve ever been sent! If I was to create a perfume product, I’m pretty sure it would end up looking a bit like this. It’s cupcake shaped, in amazing packaging and the scents are made up of delicious, edible notes. A new brand that I’ve never heard of before from France, Alice & Peter have launched a range of cupcake shaped fragrances.

This is Fancy Choco, one of five fragrances from the brand. Isn’t it cute?

I love the fonts that they have used on this range. Don’t you think they are sweet? The Fancy Choco fragrance uses notes of orange, lemon, curly mint with a heart of apricot, peach, pineapple, freesia and lilac into a base of amber, chocolate, vanilla, tonka beans, caramel and white musk. The combination sounds very strange, the packaging makes it look like it’s going to be sickly sweet and edible, but it’s not.

Each fragrance is housed in the cutest cupcake shaped bottle. The base is glass in the shape of a cupcake case and it’s topped with the appropriate icing and flavour decorations. Fancy Choco has a pearl and crystal detail finished with a wedge of chocolate and a mint leaf. Very cute!

You can smell the mint and the chocolate in this fragrance, but it’s not sweet. The fragrance dries to a warm musky scent, which is very wearable. You won’t smell like an After Eight mint (even though I think that would be quite delicious). I can’t think of anything that I’ve tried that is similar to this, it’s quite different.

These are just adorable, the brand is beautiful, the packaging is stunning and cute. The fragrance is wearable too. These would be perfect Christmas presents or a great addition to your dressing table. You can find out more about the brand and see photos of the other fragrances on their Facebook page.

What do you think of this perfume?
