Hooray for press events! I don’t get to go to very many, but it’s always great to meet the people and PRs behind the brands and also catch up with other bloggers. This week I headed to Home House for the NBPR press event, I met up with the super sweet Amy from Paperbacks and Postcards too which was lovely.
NBPR were presenting some of their beauty clients, here’s some of my favourite bits…
Lulu’s Time Bomb, a brand from the legendary singer, I’ve not tried anything yet, but I love the packaging of the skincare. What do you think? have you tried anything?
The awesome Skin Art, these are new temporary tattoo designs, in bigger and better designs. I love the crowns and the birdcages and will look forward to bringing you more info once I’ve given the new designs a go.
Awesome Colour Extreme dip dye and stencil sets, one is for animal print and the other does the prettiest peacock feather design, just so much fun, I can’t wait to give these a go!
Lee Stafford heated appliances, I’m quite frankly poor at styling hair, but I’m sure that lots of girls will love this range. The ones that caught my eye were the jumbo wavers and heated rollers. I would love to have curly hair, but want to find a easy way to do it!
My favourite things from the whole set, myface.cosmetics, I’ve not tried anything from this brand before, but was really impressed with the variety in the range. These eyeshadow duos were my favourite, such a fun range of colours.
How lush is this chartreuse and blue combo, plus they have proper brushes and not those naff sponge applicators. Amazing! A review of one of these coming soon.
After the event, I headed the The Diner for tea out with Gem from Flutter Sparkle, it was lovely. Makes me realise that I need to get out more!
Which of these brands have you tried?
