Etude House Shini Star Clear Pact Pressed Powder Review

2012 has seen many of us become obsessed with the BB Cream, a beauty product that originates from Asia. I’ve been super interested to try some of the popular cosmetics from Asia for myself to see what the fuss is about. A friend recommended an eBay shop to me, that sells Korean cosmetics. You can find Cosmetic Market on eBay here.

One of the items I’ve been using is Shini Star Clear Pact pressed powder from Etude House. How cute is the packaging?

Pretty candy coloured aqua and pink box containing a aqua coloured compact, I just couldn’t resist it, you know how I am with cute packaging. This pressed powder is in colour #1 Peach, which seems like a really strange colour for a pressed powder I know!

Inside, the compact is pressed with the logo and contains a nice sized mirror and a white flocked powder puff with a ribbon attachment. Very pretty. The powder looks like a weird colour to apply over make up and it contains a tiny bit of shimmer. I’ve been applying this with a brush because I wanted only a thin layer to mattify the skin, however, applying with the enclosed puff and rolling the product on would be great for anyone looking to combat enlarged pores.

Overall, this isn’t a ground breaking product for me. However, I’ve been enjoying using it and it does the job that I need it too. The main thing I wanted to point out was that if you are looking for the chance to try some Korean make up, I can really recommend the Cosmetic Market eBay shop, it does take a week or so to arrive, but, the quality is great, affordable and they include some free samples too.

What Asian make up have you tried?

I also bought a BB Cream which I’ll be reviewing soon.
