Moving House…

Hello everyone, hope you’re all having as wonderful a January as I am having? Seriously, don’t know what it is about 2013, but so far it’s been awesome. I’ve hit milestones and had amazing experiences and made life changes that are going to make my year 100% better than last year.

Super colourful illustration found here.

Anyway, just wanted to do a quick post to let you all know that I’m moving house on Saturday and am likely to be sans internet connection for a little while, so if I drop off the radar for a few weeks, that is why. I’ll do my best to do some posts when I can, but no doubt, things will be going quiet.

Don’t you just hate that about moving house? Everything takes so long to get back to normality. I’m currently resenting the fact that I’m most likely going to have to book a precious day off work to wait in at home all day especially for internet people to come around and install and connection. Unless, some kind of miracle has occurred which means that this stupid system doesn’t happen anymore!?

I’m currently nervous that some of my super precious wedding china will break in transit and that someone will drop the TV. Fingers crossed, the two removal men we’ve hired will be super duper and nothing will go wrong. I’m also not looking forward to having to unpack. This is the first time we’ve moved house when we’ve both been working full time, so it’s a bit unpleasant and shattering.

However, I am looking forward to finally, officially living in a London postcode and being able to pop to Harrods, walk to Chelsea and to finally be next door to a Nandos again. Things are really looking up, wouldn’t you say?

Wish me luck!

You can still get me on Twitter @JayneJRead and I’ll look forward to getting back on the blogging wagon as soon as I can!

  1. Good luck with the move. I will be moving in the next few months, however my wedding china hasn’t been unpacked since the last time we moved two years ago! Husband really precious about breaking it, while I want to use it (because well that’s why we asked for it?).

  2. Aww hope all goes well, it can be so stressful. Once your settled in, I’m sure it will be fine make sure you have your friends over to celebrate and also de-stress. Best of luck kitten x

  3. Good luck Jayne! x
