Paul & Joe Refillable Lipstick in Colour 303 Review

Gosh, I do love Paul & Joe make up. I always have. I used to sell their products when I worked in vintage style apothecary, Rose & Co in my student days in Leeds. I’m delighted to see this vintage style make up brand release a range of lipstick cases and refills, such a retro way to do lipsticks but ever so sensible.

The refills and cases are sold separately or you can buy a refill for any of the standard lipsticks, so if you have a limited edition printed case, once you use up you can refill with a new shade. Super clever.

The shade 303 is my favourite from my selection of Paul & Joe lippies, I love bright colours and this one is a stunning orange toned red lipstick. Each lipstick bullet is imprinted with the Paul & Joe initials and ever so pretty. I love the gold detail too. The refills are super easy to pop into the cases, so there’s no faffing or waste.

Although not as long lasting as other bright lipsticks that I favour, this Paul & Joe shade is very creamy, so if comfortable to wear. You don’t have the same drying feeling that you get with some super pigmented shades. The pretty packaging make it a joy to reapply too and make your make up bag looks ever so elegant.

I think this shade would suit all sorts of skin tones and really makes any make up look pop. I’ve been enjoying wearing it as a statement lip as well as teaming it with my usual vintage flicks and defined brows.

Have you tried any Paul & Joe Makeup?

What do you think about refillable lipsticks?
