Rose & Co Strawberry Cupcake Hand Cream Review

Here’s a little cutie from the wonderful Rose & Co for you. As I’ve mentioned before, Rose & Co is a vintage inspired brand, that originated in Yorkshire and I used to work in their shop in Leeds (which has now, sadly closed) Anyway, you can find Rose & Co goodness in shops like Boots, Heals and lots of independent shops, including their remaining shop in the Bronte sister village of Haworth, in Yorkshire.

Let me introduce you to the mini, Patisserie de Bain hand cream in Strawberry Cupcake…

Encased in a dinky glass pot with metal lid, it’s got a lovely handmade vibe about it. I love the vintage style labelling too, very, very pretty. The scent is an delicious, edible smelling vanilla and strawberry scent, which makes me think of strawberry flavoured Mini Milks. It’s very sweet, so isn’t going to be for everyone, although I personally love it.

The texture is thick and creamy, very similar to a The Body Shop body butter but not at all greasy or slimy. It absorbs almost immediately and leaves hands soft and deliciously scented. The ingredients include lovely things like Sunflower Oil, Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil and Cocoa Butter. A lovely treat to keep in your handbag, desk or to give as a gift.

I would always pick this one up for it’s cuteness and scent, however, for performance and results I’m going to stick with my Weleda hand cream, that has always been a favourite.

Have you tried anything from Rose & Co?

What is your favourite hand cream?
