Jayne’s April Wish List

Ahhh it’s been a long while since I did an old fashioned wish list post. I think now is a good time considering all of the crazy things that have been going on, I really deserve a treat on pay day this month and there have been lots of things that I have caught my eye. First off, I totally need a wardrobe revamp, so will have my eyes open for anything lovely in that department especially. Any volunteers for a pay day shopping trip?

First up, I’ve been loving Uniqlo. Kind of wishing I had discovered it sooner as everything seems to fit, the prices are reasonable and the quality is good. I love their collaboration collections. I’ve bought from the Orla Kiely and Celia Birdwell collection already. This month, they launched a Cabbages and Roses collaboration which made me smile as it’s a brand I used to work for. However, the piece that I have my eye on is this cute, super kawaii Sanrio My Melody top, it’s a lovely colour and the print is just super. Fingers crossed they will still have some in stock come payday.

I’m in desperate need of new shoes (I’ve decided) and now that I’m not longer with a man who is the exact same height as me, I feel like I can indulge in some heels, some especially girly heels too. I love Red or Dead shoes, they are one of my go to brands and when I spotted this glittery number I knew they had to be mine. The multi-coloured dark glitter makes them practical (in my books) and they have a sensible heel height and fastening which means I could wear them daily. I know Red or Dead shoes are totally worth the spend too, so I’m not thinking twice about these beauties.1258088960m1_main

Yes, more sparkly shoes. This time, even more practical. I love my beat up old burgundy Converse, but they are coming close to the end of their lives, so will be replacing them soon. I’ve always fancied glitter or metallic Converse, so when I spotted this snazzy blue ombre pair, it was as if they had read my mind. So cool. I’m just worried that they may malt and not wear very well. Anyone have any experience with glitter Converse?

1922735660_mainOk, so I really don’t NEED any more make up. However, on my last visit to Space N.K, I was browsing the Hourglass collection as I have never tried anything from it but it’s always caught my eye, one of the girls applied some of the Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick on me to see what I made of it. I was blown away, I tried the shade Raven, a warm orange toned red and I loved it. These beauties are a liquid lipstick that dry super matte and last like a stain. At £23 they are a treat, but I have fallen in love with this shade.

What’s on your wish list this month?

What do you think of my picks?

  1. I don’t wear converse (they’re not really my style) but those glitter ones are to die for! I hope everything stops being crazy and that life calms down for you soon, I’m sure you’ll pull through! x

  2. I have had the converse as my background on my tablet since I saw them, they’re beautiful. I was in Uniqlo on Monday and spotted the Celia Birdwell 3/4 dress in navy for when it finally becomes summer. I also want the whole line up of Lulu Guinness t-shirts.
