Guest Post: WAH! Nails at Box Park Shoreditch Review

So today, I’m handing over today’s post to a good mate of mine, Louise. Louise works in the beauty industry as a brand manager and is generally just super cool. She has a great idea for her own blog, but has yet to start it, so I’ll let you know if that ever materialises. Lou isn’t on many social networks, but if you do want to follow her, you can find her on Instagram as LouRigley. So here’s Lou’s first ever blog review…

Sitting in box park listening to p.ret.ty intense HipHop with me ma before going to the Natural History Museum to quote ‘see what all the fuss is about’ , was not what I was expecting to be doing on Saturday. However finding out about a 20 pound any design any colour offer at the new Wah nails pop up salon in Shoreditch, with my mum I did go.

Choosing was tricky, of course because I had the option of any colour, I went for black with white, wait. No. white with black.

Julie did my nails, and she was very good. Very patient.. even when I smudged it. A summer job whilst she studies… pretty sweet summer job I thought.. then I thought I wish I was as cool as Julie when I was 20.. ANYWAY…

As we wanted the design to pop we went for an Illamasqua Nail Polish in a white colour, a very good finish which covers the nail really well, then used the Wah nail pens to draw the paisley paisley pattern on top..

All fairly normal stuff, however what I need to comment on is the top coat and cuticle oil. The Seche Vite Quick Drying Top Coat, is AMAZING. For ages I thought my nails were still wet, but they were just so shiny! (and very dry)..then the CND Cuticle Oil really sorted out my pretty gross cuticles out with just one go.. so these are the two things I will be buying.

Have you had your nails done at WAH! Nails?

What do you think of Lou’s nail art?
