Oh how I wish I had time to do regular outfit posts! Respect to the fashion bloggers out there who produce amazing, top quality, full length fashion portraits for their posts, you are amazing! My problem is, I’ve lost my camera remote, I don’t have a lot of indoor space, I’m rarely free when it’s daylight outside and I’m so tall it’s hard to fit in the frame in a self shot portrait!
My other problem is that I have to mess with portraits too, I love Photoshop too much, so I have to play with things which takes more time than it should, for example, in this first photo I’ve added extra background where there was a door and cupboard and I’ve meddled with curves, contrast and added a sepia photo filter. Geek over and let’s talk about the clothes!
Right now, I’m totally loving Uniqlo, I can pretty much guarantee that I’ll find something I love in there at the moment and without having to worry about over spending. They’ve had some excellent collaborations lately and I’ve bought from nearly all of them and when I get around to it I hope to share them with you too. However, the most exciting collaboration in women’s wear this Spring Summer 2013 has got to be the Laduree range! When I spotted this macaron sprinkled top, I just had to get myself to a store pronto!
If I had bigger boobs, I’d be saying ‘Hello Boys!’ in this photo, but alas, no! Anyway, what I’m actually trying to show you is how cute the Uniqlo x Laduree t-shirt is. This is a smart white t-shirt, with slightly puffed sleeves and a high scooped neckline. The print is illustrated, water colour styled macarons and gold script with Laduree related words on it. Cute! And guess what, only £12.90! Lovely quality cotton and totally worth it.
I’ve been teaming it tucked into my AW Wear brown checked high waisted shorts and a cute skinny belt from Forever 21 (another recent shopping find!)
I had to do this photo, because from what I’m learning about fashion blogger this is one of the necessary poses. And I wanted to show off my half moon manicure with Illamasqua Throb Nail Polish and my J Scrabble Ring.
So yes, that’s a outfit post from me. Hope you liked it. Please let me know if you’d like to see more. I just need to find the flipping camera remote and then that will make outfit posts easier.
What do you think of Uniqlo?
