Too Faced Joy to the Girls Palette Review

Everyone loves a good palette right? Blogger world has gone mad for Urban Decay palettes, especially the Naked palettes, but for me, they aren’t all that great. Wait until you see this beauty and then you’ll forget all about boring old Urban Decay! This is the latest festive palette from American brand, Too Faced. Check out how pretty the limited edition print designed by famous wallpaper designer, Mary MacDonald.

Ahhh the prettiness! This beautiful palette from Too Faced contains 15 limited edition eyeshadows in a variety of colours and textures, LashGASM Mascara and a little step by step guide for some looks that can be created with the set.

For those of you who can’t resist a neutral palette, the top half of Too Faced Joy to the Girls, has everything you need. Highlighters in creamy whites, deep nudes and brows in a variety of matte, shimmer and metallic finishes. And a stunning gold in the form of Prancer. I adore Yule Log as a liner, a chocolate shade with a gold shimmer, festive nude!

If you’re looking for something a bit different the bottom half of the palette has some pretty pastels, icy shades to add something different to your look. Joy is a gorgeous duck egg greeny blue, very pretty and works great with Too-Too, a pastel pink pictured above. All of the textures are super smooth, creamy with a good punch of pigment. For an added bonus you also get the new LashGASM mascara, with it’s cheeky tag line.

Swatcheroo time! With and without flash like a good blogger. You can see that the colour range is great, it’s pretty much everything you need for daytime and evening looks.

I gave one of the looks a go, the one flagged as a Weekend Look using the pastel pink and duck egg shades. Here’s how it turned out….

The palette retails for £38, which is a great deal and you can pick it up from ASOS and other Too Faced retailers.

What do you think of  this Too Faced Joy to the Girls palette?

  1. That looks gorge! I’m not a huge fan of Urban Decay either, I prefer MUA 😉

  2. Not usually a palette fan but I feel I need this one! x
