Toot toot! Time for another outfit post. The geek chic theme is certainly continuing as is the theme of being amazed by some of the awesomeness hiding in Primark when you can be bothered to look. Today it’s all about Pac Man, obviously. And by what I mean by today is yesterday, because I’m definitely not organised enough to do outfit posts on the actual day that I wore said outfit.
My skirt is a cheap basic jersey skirt from Forever 21 of which I have a few now, very good value and comfortable to wear. Perhaps, not made to last but sometimes you can’t complain too much when it’s so cheap! I think on a shorter person and a larger size in this jumper you could wear it as a mini dress, but with my that’s not going to happen. The tights are black with gold sparkly lurex which are from New Look and my boots are Scholl from TK Maxx.
So, here’s aforementioned Pac Man jumper which was from the men’s department in Primark, I think it was about £8. It’s thin material but generally seems to be good quality at 85% cotton. Interestingly it’s not labelled as Primark but instead it’s marked as Cedar Wood State, not sure what that is or what it means, but thought you’d like to know. Anyway, it’s had lots of wear and if you’re into your geeky stuff on clothing you definitely need to check out the men’s department of Primark next time you’re in.
On my nails I’m wearing the new Illamasqua Shattered Star Nail Polish from the new SS14 Glamore collection in the shade Marquise, there will be a full review on this very soon, but so far I’m loving it. My ring is from Kactus Kawaii which I picked up from Hyper Japan last year, it’s very cute and I thought I’d stick with the fruit theme.
My gold glitter star head band is from Etsy seller and fellow blogger Head Full of Feathers, you should check out her sparkly wears, they are very lovely as well as being very affordable. Since I was wearing gold on my head, I thought I’d carry that through to the brows, as you do. So I used Sugarpill Chromalust in Goldilux over the top of Make Up Store Golddigger pencil for my brows, more subtle than I thought it would be.
My foundation is Holika Holika BB Cream again, fixed with Jurlique Powder. Cheeks is Illamasqua Hussy Powder Blusher and Illamasqua Maneater Lipstick. The eyeliner flicks were achieved with a chunky felt tip pen from Cargo, which I’m yet to review. Hair colour continues to be a mystery orange as a result of a bleach experiment.
What’s the best thing you’ve found in Primark?
