Today I’ve had a long overdue manicure, a thorough and quality one too. This afternoon I went to visit Jade of Jade Angel, which can be found in the basement of hair salon, Czaro on Wells Street off Oxford Street in Central London. The salon offers a full range of beauty treatments from lash extensions, facials, waxing and a full service menu of nail treatments, which are the core of Jade’s business.
The venue is small, but extremely well kept an decorated (mostly purple, which meant my hair matched the towels!) the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly to both myself and the other guests who passed through whilst I was waiting. The sort of environment that makes you feel completely at ease and happy to be there. So lovely.
Jade and I discussed ideas for nail art, based on what I was planning on wearing at the weekend, my favourite clothing item and my current hair colour and decided to create some nail art based on my Black Milk Mermaid Leggings.
The base colour is Essie Naughty Nautical, a teal green with a fine iridescent shimmer, topped with fine loose silver glitter.
Jade then hand painted black scale patterns and added chunky, individual glitter pieces to the underneath layer of the accent nail. All was topped with a layer of Seche Vite top coat.
If you’d like to check out Jade’s other work, follow her on Twitter as @JadeAngelNails.
What do you think of the Nail Art?
