So this was my first Christmas Jumper outfit of the year, on mine and Miz’s date day to celebrate a year since our first date. I’m having trouble with outfits lately since I went up a dress size recently and pretty much none of my clothes fit! I’m loving New Look at the moment, great for reasonable prices and a range of styles, rather than some of the other high street shops that are just overwhelmed with trends and not really what I’m after most of the time. I’ve just bought a new coat from New Look too, it was reduced too so that made me extra happy, more on that to come later.
New Look have a cute range of Christmas Jumpers in at the moment, this one is my favourite. It’s super soft red knit with embroidered snowflakes and snowmen, a little bit kitsch and a little vintage inspired, totes my thing.
I’ve teamed the Christmas Jumper with my beloved tartan dress from Doc Martens which has clearly been one of my best purchases of the year. I bought it in the Summer but the soft flannel fabric makes it awesome for layering in colder weather too. Plus the classic colour combos make it perfect for mixing with a range of other tones. My hat is from Atticus and my green hoodie is a New Look special, which was super cheap in the sale.
This awesome necklace is from Etsy, a collaboration between two Brighton based creators Designosaur and Hello Dodo, it’s a transparent acrylic chameleon on a wooden branch and of course, goes with ANYTHING. I’ve never seen another design like this, it’s really cool and pretty special, his name is George, in case you were wondering.
And here’s my new Winter boots also from Doc Martens. I haven’t had Dr. Martens since I was a kid when I had floral print ones as school shoes. I wasn’t sure if they would still be for me, but these lower cut style in textured leather are just the right thing. Warm, comfortable and the soft leather makes them super quick to break in. Highly recommend.
