Here’s another little news type update of some cool stuff that I’ve spotted this month that is either due to come out shortly or recently launched. I LOVE seeing new brands land in the UK and always find it exciting to discover something innovative or interesting whether it be in beauty, fashion, lifestyle or food.
Too Faced Summer Collection
That’s the whole pile of goodies pictures above from the Summer collection from Too Faced. I’ve always loved the packaging of this range and see it as great alternative to Benefit, all of Too Faced is cruelty free and their packaging is adorable. They’re launching Melted Lipsticks in metallics which I’m really interested to see swatched and a powder palette inspired by Instagram filters which I thought was pretty fun. Mainly though, I’ve got my eye on that palette with a macaron printed case, how cute is that? It’s out in April.
Bourjois La Laque Nail Polish Launch in May
I generally find the high street ‘drug store’ brands a little uninspiring when it comes to packaging and colours, so it was a nice surprise to see Bourjois up their nail polish game with this slick new look collection which launches in May. The colours are pretty safe (I like the blue and green ALOT) but I was impressed with the packaging, the bottle are actually triangular, it looks a lot more premium.
Maria Nila Luxury Vegan Hair and Colour Care Collection
This is an interesting vegan and sulphate free hair launch from Sweden, it’s landed in the UK this week exclusive to Sally and Salon Services. The formulas are 100% vegan and maintain a luxurious look with their lovely pastel packaging, the range includes shampoo, conditions, masks and Colour Refresh that gives hair a boost of colour in order for you to maintain your hair colours vibrancy for longer, quite similar to Scott Cornwall’s Colour Restore from what I can see. I look forward to giving some of this range a go, they’ve got a Twitter comp live at the moment too!
Mod Dolly Exclusive Collection for ASOS
I’m so proud of Amy’s achievement with her brand Mod Dolly, when I first met Amy it was pretty much a one man operation with Amy doing everything herself, since then it’s been such a delight to see her brand grow and flourish. This month, Mod Dolly launches its first exclusive collection for ASOS, how amazing is that? Amy is testament that if you have a vision and a dream and put all you have into it, you can make anything happen! Congrats lovely lady.
