It’s true, I really don’t ever wear grey, let along something that was plain grey with nothing really very exciting going on. This dress is pretty much the last thing I would ever pick up if I was browsing the shops. However, I think I actually really like it.
So this very non-me dress is from the bargain range at George at Asda, I picked it up as a wild card to see if it would work as a long top over some of my patterned Black Milk leggings, which it does. However, I think it is much nicer as worn here over tights and denim shorts (for safety and only £8 from Asda!)
The George at Asda dress is a viscose/polyester/elastane blend which is really lightweight and soft, I’ve normally avoid this blend but viscose is nice and breathable so doesn’t feel gross. It’s got nice cropped sleeves, a high neck and a keyhole button back detail on the back.
The tights were a bargain find from Primark last year, they’ve got panda bears on the front with hear shaped noses and even have little tails printed on the back. I’m surprised that they are still alive!
Trusty Dr. Martens are still being loved, such a great buy and I’m really pleased with them, so comfortable and easy to style with so many things!
My necklaces are from two indie sellers, the black one from Little Moose which is a great acrylic character themed brand which is quite pricey but absolutely beautiful and the orange cross stitch cat is from my friend Louisa’s Etsy shop Hey Kitsch Kitty, she’s closed at the moment but will be back with a makeover soon!
My hair is looking tired at the moment, so I spruced it up with this ASOS floral crown and it’s in dire need of some more Colour Freedom dye onto it! Make up features the new Gel Sculpt in Charisma from Illamasqua, I’ll write more about this beauty soon!
