Last week we went to MCM ComicCon, I’ll write a bit more about that very soon. One of the things that I was excited to check out though was the new Hello Kitty collab from Insert Coin Clothing which I talked about earlier in the month. The collection made it’s debut at London ComiCon and I picked up one of the pieces.
This is the first time I’ve seen the Insert Coin Clothing collection the flesh and it was great to see that the quality stays true IRL too, the range features leggings, tees, jackets, bags and dresses inspired by the gaming world. The latest Hello Kitty collab is a bit of a diversion from their normal cup of tea and no doubt, a plan to attract more ladies to the brand. It worked.
This is their newer girly fit t-shirt which is suitable for guys and girls. It’s a longer line fit with a slim (but not skinny fit which I don’t like anymore) with rolled up loose fit sleeves. I’m wearing their size L which I think would be ideal for a size 14 if you want a loose fit like I’ve got, they do go up to XL as well.
LOVE the design on this one, it’s subtle, it’s cute and it’s a nod to the geeks out there and thank gawd it’s not pink. I hate pink. You can also pick up ICxHC items on jumpers, guys tees and leggings, they aren’t online just yet but watch out as they’ll be available very soon.
The fit is lovely, it’s super comfortable and the quality is great too. I’ll definitely be checking out some other things from their site on pay day and recommend you do too, although I expect some of their niche gaming references may be lost of some people (I know I don’t get that many of them, yet!)
