So yea, I’ve seen a couple of make up looks on Instagram lately where the eye make up is intentionally not matching and I really liked the idea, so I thought I would give it a go and see what I thought. Since it was my first try, I’ve gone for a subtle look. Read on to find out what products I used for this make up creation. Also, check out my accidental elf ears!
I’m still fully loving and favouring the Sleek Makeup CC Cream in fair, a great lightweight base with a bit of SPF and easy to apply builldable coverage. All set with Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder. For a pop of colour on the cheeks I used the new Gel Sculpt from Illamasqua in shade Charm, a vibrant neon orange in the bullet and a sheer, peachy glow on application. Unfortunately, I’ve squished this pretty now so can’t photograph it looking nice.
Lips are using this mega rose petal nude chubby lipstick pencil which I just love. Here’s the swatches of the Illamasqua Gel Sculpt in Charm and the two Urban Decay Electric shades that I used to line the underneath of my eye and flick out and over into the crease too. All the shades in this palette have a lovely shimmer to them which make them even more wow! Pretty, fine shimmer though rather than 90s glitter overload.
So yea, I really like how it looked with odd eyes, one with green and one with yellow and I’ll definitely be doing this kind of look again with different shades and shapes. Do you think you would wear it?
